Just joined this forum and I?m about to stop because of the annoying ads that move around on the page. Ridiculous, you scroll half way through a thread then all the adds jump around and automatically scroll me half way down the thread, now I can?t find where I was in the thread. Ready to give up on a great community because of crap web hosting, anyone else have this issue? I know ads are required to help pay for the site and I?m not an internet wiz but there must be a fix.

I suspect most people who use the site regularly on mobile are using an app like Tapatalk. It still has ads, but not problematic like you are describing. I know some people don't want to put more apps on their phone, but that's probably the only answer.

The mobile version of this website sucks so much with all the ads that i don't even bother visiting and replying to posts until I get home to use my laptop.

That said, don't be so dramatic... it's not the end of the world. ::grin::

As suggested by @JamesInTahoe please try the tapatalk app on your phone for mobile usage of this site. There is a version available for both android and iPhone.

I use the ad 'full' version and it is very acceptable and very fast.

You can if you want pay I think .99 cents a month for no ads.

All replies to the OP are by folks w/ upgraded membership = either Premium or Lifetime. Does a membership upgrade carry over for when logging in via a mobile device?

Ah, forgot I'm a lifetime member. I see ads on the "desktop version" though. I got my membership a long time ago, the version i have isn't even offered anymore and I'm not sure it's ad free (don't think so since I see them if i switch to desktop site). It was only like a $20 one time fee or something.

So apparently you can view it three ways with the mobile browser. Enhanced mobile view (which I use) ; enhanced mobile view turned off (regular mobile view); and desktop version. I recommend the enhanced mobile view to the OP.

Nah, the enhanced one is the one full of ads. I use the regular mobile view and there are no ads.

All the web forums owned by VerticalScope suck when it comes to navigation and adware/cookie bloat. I have to run a ad block to even somewhat normally navigate around here. Also, if you are visiting through a corporate firewall that virus scans every page load, bogs down even more.
