Hello everyone
Hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction here. In just the past few days my AC has gone hot. It was making a low humming noise when I turned it on and all of a sudden the hum is gone and it blows hot air. I can hear the clutch engage, checked all the fuses, checked high and low pressure and its all good. Anyone have any ideas about where to look next? Any help is greatly appreciated.

sounds like your freon leaked out somewhere

Thats what I thought as well but when I connected the pressure gague it blew dye back out at me so Im thinking it is still full....I could be wrong as Im not a AC guy lol....

i just had my ac fixed. it was just blowing hot air too. i had to replace a belt for the compressor and put in a new line for the freon. that pretty much fixed the problem.

Did you overcharge the system?
