Just wondering if anyone out there has purchased and installed the cat back from 4x4 parts. I was wanting to know the brand, sound and anything else that I might want to know about it and if its worth buying. Thanks for any help. Also, i sent a msg to them about it, and they haven't responded at the moment.

It is a Gibson. I bought one for my 98XE KC. It has a very deep tone at low rpm's and doesnt sound like a 4 cyl until around 3000 or so. I would recommend it.

damn that's expensive! i just re did my exhaust using a magnaflow muff that i bought from amazon for 30 bucks, and paid 40 bucks to get it installed.

is it loud?

It's not too bad, not quite as loud as the flowmasters and such. You can hear it in the cab with the windows up. It gets louder past 3500 or so. Still overall not bad. I like the deeper sound it has. Yea, it's expensive, but it is stainless and it's also in the same range as other brands.

Sorry, site won't take anything over 4mb in an avi file. That size won't give much, and I can't seem to make one that short after several tries.
