well you want both wheels to spin. it when one spins and the other one dosen't that it apllies the brake. If your trutrac is workign then you won't have just one wheel spining and it will never engage. Just like if you ahve the Nismo with the E-locker it never desables ABLS when the locker is on it just makes it so both wheels spin and it dosen't engage/

I think his main question is more so if the rears are spinning more then the fronts, will the ABLS kick in and kill the burnout and that is a yes. This is why the burnout mod was created I believe. If not, the truck tries to shut you down mid spin.

Side Note: I assume the OP knows this but the TT only works for the m226 axle which is in the Titans but only from 04-07 and then it was changed in 08 and then the Frontier m226 but again, it has not been see if the axle changed or not. We all believe it didn't for the Frontier but we don't know for sure.

i don't know the specific stats on that lsd unit but i know that some will allow as much as 20/80 split power between the two rear tires. i think when using an lsd that gives that much split in power that the abls may still activate since the difference in speed is pretty big. but like i said i don't know the specs on the one in question. just a heads up

The ABLS isn't a 1:1 slip or it would engage every time you went around a corner.

i never said that it was a 1:1 slip, if you could read you would see that i was sighting LSD units that allow for a difference of 80/20 and thats no where near 1/1

I do need a hug.. 90 days of 12 hour shift makes me cranky.. but soon I will see the back of my truck cut off and then there will be no truning bake.. and when I got feet of wheel travel it will all be worth.. I'm hoping that if trailing arms drops panties.. and then Mez arms will let me put it in the poopper..

i find it pretty funny how i make a comment about the abls maybe kicking in in a situation of 80/20 power split like some LSDs allow and you quote that post and say that abls isn't 1:1 slip or it would brake going around corners..... has nothing to do with my post and i say something about it and you say something about me getting butt hurt about it, i ask a simple question of what the point was in quoting me considering that most people quote to point out flaw or answer a question instead of answering you say something about not getting in a pissing contest...... sounds like your the one that is pretty but hurt

hmm I been here for 3 years I didn't know you could only use the quote buton to point out people flaws..

As far ABS and these trucks go in the 4 and half years I have had my truck. I have broken ABS lines, respliced them, taken it apart. Talked to racers, builders gear shops and driveline shops to figure out how to get around it. I am 8000 miles away from my truck right now and I'm working with a shop move the ABS sencers off the axel on to the drive shaft so I can put ford 9 inch. I don't think I'm talkign out of my ***.

your right i'm sure that the owners manual and nissan wiring diagrams all lie about turning off abs with the locker, not to mention that when you turn on the locker the abs and slip lights come on indicating the systems have been shut off. i'm probably just don't know how to read and don't know how to read wiring diagrams right, which is really going to suck for all those owners of MTI raceboats that i wired and Custom MTI boats. They pretty much let anyone these days wire up 2 million dollor boats, its not like you really need to trust the guy who's wiring up a 200mph boat. Man do i hope none of those race boats gets in bad shape in a race cause with not being able to read i think that may put a damper on the functionality of their safety systems. but i guess if i can read then it would have to be nissan that was wrong. yeah they must be wrong about the truck that they made. well i'm glad you cleared all this up for me

So, what have we learned so far?

If you want to use the OEM E-locker on a Nismo, it disables the ABS system so it doens't try to over-ride the locker and cause other issue.

We have learned that the truck doesn't work correctly if you manually over-ride the ABS system, thus the work-around to use a Ford 9".

We have also learned that Mustard is in the SandBox and has a ton of real life knowledge when it comes to the ABS system since he has FUBARed it enough to know what you can and can not do with the system.

We have also learned the Colin is into wiring and is pretty good and doing it since his job is to do custom wiring on race boats.

In the end, Mustard and Colin don't play well.

Is there anything I have missed?

Ohhh, lets not forget that to do a proper BurnOut using a TT, you probably need to do the burnout mod from CT and you should be good to go.

playing well or not aside part of mustards post really interests me. considering that the drive shaft is spinning faster than the axles (3.xxx times as fast in most cases with our trucks) i'm very curious as to what the guys at the shop are coming up with to take that into account when mounting the sensors at the drive shaft. if you haven't already you should post up about what they are doing with all of that and what they come up with to get the correct readings from the sensors. thats a bit off topic, but this whole thing has been off topic for a bit now so i'm throwing that out there.
