1998 XE CC 2.4 auto. I have a weird shake moving thru the dash towards me when taking off hard from a dead stop. I also had this in a 2000 Xterra with a V6 so this must be a common problem that I missed in doing a search.

Anyone know what's going on with this? It's not a coincidence that 2 diff. years with same problem. Has to be common.

I wouldn't say common. The 4 and 6 cylinder are completely different, almost no common parts.

Exactly so it must be something other than the engine. Did they use the same trans?
