American Sized Hand Oil Portal Mod.
Yeah, I just made that up.
Got tired of cutting my wrists in that tiny oil filter access portal.
Piece of aluminum sheet stock, die grinder, drill, machine screws and some nut plates later it looks like this.

Much easier get real American-sized hands into this. Panel is 5" x 9". Access window is now 4.5" x 8.5".

I only use that for the oil to drip out. I usually go in from the passenger side wheel well. Good idea though.

Same... just four 10mm bolts and the whole skid is out, wide open access to the oil filter AND the drain channel.

I never stick my hand in that little access hole. I do the same a kgordon and go in through the passenger side. Only use the access door to allow the oil to drain.
