a few months ago had my a/c fixed then 2 months later its starts this turning on and off.. took it back and they told me it was electrical. does anyone have an idea?? it just clicks on and off whenever however.

Do you mean the compressor is cycling on and off or do you mean the light on the button on the dash turns on and off?

How often does it do it? 3 times/second? 3 times/minute? 3 times/hour?

When it's off does the air from the vents get warm like the ambient air temperature or does it cycle back on before the air is able to get warm?

i think the compresser is actually switching on and off cause you can here it the light on the a/c button stays on, but as for when it does it its so random it might click on and off 5 times in 10 sec, or it might work for as long as i have the truck running like 2 hours then i turn the truck off and on again and it wont work anymore for the day there is no pattern to it

I just switched my resistor about 10 minutes ago and it only took me 10 minutes to do it and that is because I have no mechanical skills whatsoever. Thanks guys for the troubleshooting much appreciated. I would guess I saved myself a couple hundred dollars trying it myself.
