Hello!

I'm having an issue with the AC system on my 08 Frontier.

I have replaced the blower motor and resistor and am experiencing an issue where the compressor and blower don't want to work at the same time. When turning the fan speed dial, the A/C light turns on at level 1, the compressor kicks in, and the AC lines under the hood start frosting over, but no blower. At level 2, 3, and 4, the A/C light turns off and will not turn back on. The compressor does not engage, but the blower will blow as it's respective speed.

Any ideas on what the issue could be?

I had the exact problem that you are describing a few years ago. I replaced the blower motor resistor and it solved the problem.

Maybe the new resistor you installed was defective. You should read through the manual that Butterman posted and use a multi meter to check things. I would start with checking the resistor first.

Sounds like classic symptoms of a bad blower resistor to me.
