If you own a '98 - '00 Frontier with the 3.3L V6, you probably feel my pain of not feeling like you have enough power. Well, I have 2 cheap things that can help you out! First, go get yourself a Kool Vue Cold Air Intake kit. It installs in about 3 hours, which may seem like a long time considering some systems only take about half an hour, but you do have to take apart the old one apart to get certain pieces for the old one. Anyways, the new one helps A LOT. It sounds a lot throatier, which is characteristic of a Nissan. But it doesn't just sound better, it PERFORMS better too. I found mine for a staggeringly-low $50.00 or so INCLUDING SHIPPING. I am having trouble finding the thing again, but if you can find it, get it. Secondly, you need a Magnaflow muffler. The guy I went to hacked my old one off and put the new one in with PERFECT welds for a total time of about half an hour. He also only charged me $200 for parts and labor. If you have a 98-00 Frontier and feel the need for more power but don't want to go so far as to having to get a supercharger or turbocharger, get these two things and you will be set. I'm thinking that my horsepower and torque numbers raised by about 30 each. That's not bad considering I only paid $250 total for my mods!!!
