Thanks for this site, I appreciate an area where like minded people can come together.
My truck is an older model with over 282,000 miles. I bought it with 177,00 miles for $3,000. It is a daily driver and I get 22 mpg+/-.
My question;
I am in the middle of changing the wiper motor,
the 3 bolts that hold it to the fire wall, no problem;
I took out the glove box in hoping it would give me access to the nut on the end of the motor shaft that goes through the fire wall that attaches to the mechanical parts of the wipers.
Question:
Do I need to remove the heater core and whatever else is up in that corner, behind the glove box, to get to this single nut?:censor:
I am in the middle of it right now so any help would be great.:comphead:
Are you sure it's not accessable from under the cowl outside? I believe the wiper transmission is located there. I can't remember how my hardbody was in that area. I'll look further online.

I got it. The panel between the hood and windshield can be removed after taking the black vent covers off.
Wha-la. There is the wiper arm bolted to the motor shaft.
