armor up.

that is a good looking truck. I would suggest to armor up straight away. Hefty fab works has a selection for the truck in steel and aluminum. I think the aluminum would be a great choice as my steel is quite heavy. call him though. A good man.

check with Rugged Rocks for your gear set. Steve can set you up. he is a good man. you will need to change the front carrier for the 4.10 and ARB is the sole provider of the carrier: air lock it all the way! see Pete's gear shop in Hayward for the install or a local one.

soon you will be ready for a great vacation in Moab, Utah with the GONE moab 2018 event.

take your time with the build. patience and field testing!

Clubfrontier Norcal is a good group of folks to wheel with.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will look into them. First purchase will definitely be a set of rock sliders and will build up from there. That was the plan the whole time but a member was selling a CAI I couldn't pass up on. Looking forward to getting out with you soon. Keep me updated on meets please. Between hunting and this truck I will go broke lol

Installed the hefty radiator guard today that I picked up from @bagersv. Definitely a lot better protection then stock. Still need to drill the back wholes for the beefier bolts but I was able to get it to bolt up to the stock location for now. I didn't have any "American" Allen wrenches at the time I put it on so I'll get another pic in a bit with the bumper bolted back on. Btw. Why the hell does that front air deflector on the bottom of the bumper have to be attached like someone would want to steal it. I spent more time removing that then anything.

Found the next mod. I forgot I had this laying around from when I thought the one on my duck hunting boat went out. Ordered a new one just to find out I had the battery hooked up backwards from when I replaced it. Glad I kept it. Gonna find a new place to mount the front bumper and mount it straight to the bumper. Need to find a wiring harness and call nissan and see about getting a working switch for my empty spot!

Broke the first thing on the truck this weekend. Bye bye 7 pin trailer connector. I had plans to change it to the other style anyways as I don't tow much more then my boat for hunting.
Looks like you are still running the stock bumper. This happens to every Frontier with the bracket under the bumper.... the fix is to drill a hole next to the license plate and move it up out of harms way. There is a thread in the DIY section, I believe.

Here it is - http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f23/hitch-plug-relocated-bumper-30484/

Thanks I appreciate it. The mount is done. Like I said I'll just be switching over to the two prong adaptor as that's all I tow. And plan on getting a rear bumper built after my front is done.

I use a Smittybilt X20 - 10,000# Winch w/ Synthetic Cable winch and have been very happy with it. It has been used several times o the trails. five (5) times on one muddy slimy trip this past spring.

The front of my truck with the Shrockworks bumper (very similar to the one made by Eolivas')

Thanks for the pick's! I've always wondered how it would fit in place. I have an ARB Deluxe Bull Bumper installed and could not see how the 2 would fit. Were there any issues with the installation other than above? Thanks again!
