No, we do not run a 7th injector on an NA motor but most supercharged 2nd gens run 12 total.

I have to say thou, after your intro thread, it appears that you are just honking your own horn. Are you here to to try and piss people off or what?

Let me get u a new bowl of cheerios. Somebody must of pissed in yours this morning. Anyway, would y'all like a 7th injector?
no need for one with the NAs the OEM ones flow well and no one has maxed them out yet with bolt ons. also dont know of any of the big HP NA zs needing a 7th just run a little bigger one. for a cooler air temp/heat soak that's what CO2 is for

Cool. Thanx for the valid info.

Sounds like someone is trying to make some enemies.

I have to wonder, why would someone use an extra injector on an NA motor?

Then just to fill you in, the only supercharger on the market for the 2nd gens is from Stillen and they use a piggyback system with its own injectors to tune with. It sucks but it somewhat works.

The people that really set-up the Stillen system to work, they just upgrade to larger injectors and a custom tune from UpRev to eliminate the crappy piggyback system.

Now if you want cooler intake temps, then a CO2 system should be used but once again, on an NA motor its a bit of a useless mod.

yea from what i've been reading most people on my350 are getting 350+ whp with well built NA motors on stock injectors. only reason to upgrade is F/I and there's only a few guys on this board that are so a 7th injector would not do much for us. i understand the premise but it seems like overkill on a motor that has the fuel side of things well handled out of the box. not a bad idea, just not needed imo. carry on
i love dubie!
Ohhh, that may be going a bit far, lol.
hahaha, i had to express. it would be way easier if we could hear each other. this is bogus.
i wanna sing a song. but either way. your the man.
i love dubie!

No, I think he's just tired of his ugly low rider and wants to see if Nissan has more aftermarket support available so he can make the switch back.

That being said, I'd never try to sell a Toyota right now. Manheim #s are ugly, you'll take a bath on it.

Please explain in red. Not trying to stir up anything. Being N/A there will not be much benefit. Cooler intake temps and extra fuel. Do ya'll have cams, pistons, rods for this motor? What size throttle body does the Nissan 4.0 have? What is the price for the Stillen S/C??

Not tired of this X-Runner. It is a well handling sports truck. Has plenty power and I am dropping a built motor in the next 3-4 weeks. Supercharged at the moment going twin turbo this summer. :)

actually, i am. but good job. you see the names to faces thread?

stillen s/c is still costing around 5-6k after install, tune. maybe even a little more. and at that much, you should just swap motors hahahahahha

Nope. That is a lot of $$$ How many HP do ya gain? Once S/C is installed.
The "Enemy" comment was simple. You showed up, put down the Frontier (actually its aftermarket support but close enough) and then started the cocky talk. This is not a good way to start making friends.

Then you start asking questions about things that you have and we don't which just pushes the "I'm better then you" vibe.

Then you start this thread with no real knowledge of what is out there for the Frontier and what mods actually work.

Then you ask if we would be interested in the "7th injector" mod. Actually, you kinda sound a little like WRP now, lol.

What it all boils down to is that most mods have been tried and the ones that have not been are due to cost/time. There hits a point where boosting the truck costs too much and it is much easier/cheaper to just swap motors. This is why Andy dropped the 5.6 out of the Titan into his Frontier.
LOL, now it is just comical. I will leave you to your thread. Hopefully your motor build and turbo install will go like planned.

Just one last question, what size motor, and what psi are you going to be pushing?

4.0 12-15psi. Let me say one more thing about your comments. The X-Runner did not have that much more aftermarket support either when I first bought her. I made many many phone calls and got things done. For example composite leaf springs, dropped coils, sway bars, coil overs, whipple s/c, rear shocks, turbo kits and many more. Now some of these products never went into production but I did the work to get some of these products made. So get to work. :)

Nobody else felt this way......WHY???
actually, they do. they just dont feel like wasting their time. half your posts are demeaning towards other members, and this thread reeks of spam.

but youre just here over a taco thread. im sure youll make your point and we will nod and wait for you to leave. happily ever after.
Actually, I'm pretty sure our only SC system-Stillen has a 7th injector and an ECU piggy back system. Thats one reason it pretty poor. A few people like brutal have done away with the 7th injector and just upgraded their six regular ones to bigger injectors. This, along with a good custom tune, the stillen starts having respectable, but not great gains.
