Hi to all, i was looking in giantmotorsport.com and I found a 62" Long Travel Leaf Spring Kit for all nissan. This will function in the fronty? how much lift it will provide? How is the difference with the prg 10 leaf pack..

they are long travel leaf packs, they designed to give you more wheel travel not just lift. They have a frontier in there right now and they are figuring how to get mounts to work on the frontier. Chances are you will need a wider rear axle because they are titan leaf springs and mount out side the frame rails, not like the frontiers that mount under the frame rails.

Firstly, world of difference between the spring over 10pk Greg offers. Converting to a spring under set up allows for more articulation/travel and is a much more progressive set up. Secondly, the 62" pack can be set up anyway you like...you can get close to 5-6" of lift probably depending on your shackle length. Additionally, the 62's can be set up under the frame with custom mounts...however; without moving everything outside of your frame you will need to relocate your gas tank to allow for the shocks to come up through the bed.

My truck is currently at Giant getting the 64" race kit installed. So far we have had to build a custom length shackle to clear the body mount on the bed and the rear bumper had to be removed.

Unless you are intending to actually PreRun, Chase, or Race your truck then honestly I think your money could be better spent elsewhere. Greg's 10pk along with a set of 14" shocks can get you a very nice comfortable ride in the desert. The nice thing about going that route is everything is bolt on for the most part and there is no guess work.

Yes he does the pre-runner thing and considering he's getting that racing kit I'd say he's working on the racing thing cuz jay goes all out when he does his stuff haha.

ixnay on the ickschay! Honey..if you are reading this he is referring to baby chickens...not those super hot teenagers I pointed out at the beach yesterday:)

And seriously..leaving in the dust? C'mon man...of course you will. I only like to park the truck to strategically display my dirtbike so everyone can see how gnar I am as they drive by. If I drive it around too much the paint may get chipped or really dirty or something.

hah, thanks for the vote of confidence. :) She's a work in progress and I wanna make sure I do things right the first time, rather than buying thousands of dollars in parts over and over. I learned my lesson the hard way the first year I owned the truck.

My truck is still in the building phases, so not too much action. I have spent the last two years almost researching/planning my build and am just now getting to put a lot of the parts actually on the truck. Once the suspension is buttoned up and the cage is finished it will serve as a 1450 chase/prerunner as needed and will run 1 or 2 fun races a year.
