Ok I just got my 5 inch calmini lift with SAWs for my 4x4 and wanted to install this weekend. I won't be able to get tires for another 3-4 weeks, but I was thinking I could just run stock wheels and tires with it for a month since i've seen a few different pics of trucks on here with this setup. The customer service guy at Calmini says I can't do stock wheels and tires because I won't be able to align it properly with the stock backspacing. Is this really true? I need to know for sure because my truck is my daily driver and I'll be screwed if I put the lift on and find out I can't drive it. Thanks for the input!

I have seen a couple people on here that had stock wheels with the calmini kit.

I don't know if they are on with spacers or not though.

I think the guy you talked to is blowing smoke up your ***. There shouldnt be any reason you cant run stock wheels. Its not like its changing the way the hub assembly mounts and the clearances of the brake location.

I know you can't run stock wheels with the Fabtech but I wheeled 4 or 5 people that had the calmini and stock wheels.

So where are the pic's of your truck?

When I got my lift put on, the stock wheels were grinding on something as I rolled down the road, but I had some procomp 8089's waiting for me the same day. The noise it made was a little unnerving and you could see a groove on the stock wheel when they took them off, but I never found out what did it.

I want to try and get it done over the weekend..... hopefully
