I see that synthetic oil is recommended now, but why? Same engine I thought.

I tried searching but I can't figure out how to filter out all the posts about if someone should switch to synthetic, vs if synthetic is factory recommended and why.

Really? I thought the SN designation was synth.

Nope just the most current classification of oil...
