I also throw in a can of sea foam every ten thousand miles, any thoughts on that?
It's like creating an addiction... it breaks down water into smaller particles, it does not make it go away and in fact, because of the alcohols, it can absorb more condensation easily. The stuff does a seemingly quick fix to fuel issues and actually aids over the long run in adding more water back in your system making it run poorly again, and there you are contributing to its habit every so often. Gasoline is a petroleum product, use petroleum based products to treat it not alcohol ones? Case in point, gasoline is what Alcohol Fuel drag racers uses to purge water from their fuel systems. Alcohols make water cling to fuel tanks, storing it .... that's what I think I know at least? Isopropyl mostly, that's Seafoam about 70% of it
