I have the 04 frontier 2wd 4cyl...looking to buy the 3"body lift from performance accessories and wondering about the difficulty of the installation or any time frames....also putting some 29" terra grapplers with 18" moto metal 951s (black) (white truck) tire size 255-55-18...any opinions on the how the truck would look???

you should be able to run that size tire with a mild torsion bar lift , no need to run a body lift
if you want to run one try the 2" , its alot easier to install and less time

Real funny Oregon ...thanks penski
sorry dude, you wanted my opinion. 3" BL on 29s? bro come on lol

you can run 31s with no t bar crank. i had 30s on my 03 and could easily fit 31s with no rub

oregon- but its only a 4 banger....alec-and why u say its retarded
so what? its got a 4 banger? 29's with a 3" will look stupid. dude body lifts are hidious especially when you dont raise bumpers. the 3" is a PITA and you have to cut and weld the shift extention on. if your worried about power loss do not even think about lifting a running a bigger tire.

body lifts are a joke. they really give you no benefit at all and are a pain in the a$$ to install. also they look TERRIBLE

a 2" bl takes all but 4-5 hours , dont know whats so hard about that

relocate the bumpers and its pretty hard to tell someone has a BL

either way i think the OP will be fine with the tire size he wants to run without having to do much of a lift
