ARGO73: voted "yes" he was having problems but he has a V6 engine in his 2006 4x4 so his vote will be discounted here. He should of voted in the V6 poll.

Bobstrich, and Lanceside both have V6 engines so I won't count their votes in the poll listed above as this was for 4 cylinders only.

had 60,000 when i traded it. no problem.
Ryan,
THAnks for participating in the poll on 4 cylinders. However, you forgot to vote in the poll. If your truck was a 4 cylinder please add your vote in the above poll. Thank you.

GDOG425 voted in this poll in error. Needs to vote in the 1st gneration poll instead so I will vote over there under my name to get his vote of "no problems" into the correct poll. Will still need his mileage off of the odometer.

MADRAFTER reports his 2009 frontier has 7,000 miles on it...no problems with timing chain.

So far we have 10-2nd generation frontier owners who reported a total of 375,000 miles driven or 37,500 miles per truck average going back as early as 2005. All reported "No problems" with the timing chain in their trucks. I would still like to get more votes in this poll so we have a more solid statistical basis for saying "the 4 cylinders just don't have timing chain issues". IF I could get another 10 votes or more that would be great. Thanks for your help.
