a +18 offset wheel, is it possible? My lift isn't in yet but there is a killer deal on a set of firestone destination AT's that I don't want to pass up. If I have to I can always get them mounted and then throw my old stockers back on until the lift is ready to go on.
I saw someone that had 33" firestone MT's with no lift but that was stock wheels so I HAD TO ASK all you knowledgeable folks.

The only driving the truck would see until the lift is on would be the 5 minute drive from the shop to my house.

I had that size in bfg at/ta ko 8ply....

They swarmed the wheel well making a verry nice look.

Unfortunatly though i had contact insde the well at turns and compression, i also had to remove the front air dam plastic crappy thing.. oh and the front mud flaps had to go too...

After you remove those and put a heat gun to the well they will roll fine.

Ive bought new tires since and have gone back to 265 70/17 4 ply for comfort reasons

Well the firestone are a P tire, not LT so comfort should still be good. They weigh about the same as the 265/70-17 grabbers I was going to get and are actually ending up being a few dollars cheaper so I can't skip it.
Were you running stock wheels and getting rubbing?
I was planning on pulling off the mud guards, already have the other plastic crap off. I am just worried about being able to make it home, lol.

Thanks for the link, Mike. Do you think the +18 offset will make much of a difference as far as turning goes?
8" or 9" wide?

Good to know, when I need some new tires in a bit more than a year. Didn't think they'd fit at the time I bought my Nittos.

those are the same spec. as NCFronty rims so he could tell you better but I don't think the tire would rub the frame.

haha, nothing special here at all
I got the tires for about $695 OTD w/ road hazard, I have absolutely no complaints. I should be getting that $50 rebate from Firestone too so under $650 for these babies. I have the stock LE's with tires sitting in the garage now, I should probably sell them.

Well, took a trip to the beach today and ended up carving a nice hole in both fender liners (in the front). That was a pretty loud experience. The damage was pretty amazing to see, I figured it was going to be the rear part of the liner (even though I melted that back) but LO AND BEHOLD, the fronts have their own doorways now.
The heat and 70mph speeds on the highway must have made it all possible, im just going to remove whats left of the liner and put new ones on when the lift FINALLY gets here (HELLO 4x4parts, you there?).

Still a nice trip to the beach though.
This is more a word of caution to anyone running 33" tires with no lift. **** CAN happen
