With my aftermarket armrest booster the console armrest is about the same height as the window sill. I am very happy with how it works. It should have come that way factory though.
It used to slide back and forth, when I took that pic. Later it broke when my kid crawled over it. I just positioned it where I wanted it and fixed it directly to the console lid. It no longer slides but it still works well for me.
I bought the leather cover with extra padding and it makes the armrest excellent for me. The original material is way too grippy. No idea why they would have speced it that way.
I purchased the leather cover without padding. I opted for a two-tone black on the sides, grey on top, as the interior of my truck is predominantly a graphite grey but my vinyl seat covers are black. The armrest cover was tricky to install, but using a bit of glue in a few key spots made it work well. I'm very happy with it. I wish the company would offer a steering wheel cover for the second gen Frontier. At some point I might get the park brake cover as there is a small hole in my factory one. The install for the parking brake cover looks complicated, but maybe its not so bad.
Shipping from Poland to Canada was very quick. Very happy with this product!
Not to futher hijack, but this cover kinda looks like the one above. I'll have to ask if there is extra padding. Kinda looks like it.
Curious to see how the 9 speed thing plays out. I think they're purposely trashing a good truck. They've gotten out of the van business, I think bc they don't want good van choices here after they make so many homeless, not that the NV 200 was all that good; but the big one is a tank.
Look at the nice Nissan vans they've had in much of the rest of the world for decades. Chicken tax my arse. Good vans have slowly & steadily disappeared in the US. They put what amounts to a cell tower in the only small van I really like here- the Ford Transit 'connect'. You can't shut that radiation off & Ford won't tell me how I can remove it, so I won't buy one. I wonder how many tradesmen come home with a headache everyday & don't know why or how many people that van has killed with cancer. Now Ford is doing the same thing in a lot of their other vehicles. I'd advise anyone buying a new car to invest in a radiation meter first. End of rant. 🤔🙄
Out of curiosity, what do you mean "I think they are purposely trashing a good truck"? By putting a 3.8 V6 and 9-sp auto in the Frontier? Is it not an upgrade over the older 4.0l? In my case, I just stumbled upon the truck not knowing they had a brand new power train in a 15yr old design. It is what sold me on upgrading my 2011 Tacoma to a newer ride. I think its a pretty good setup, but I do think they should offer a manual with the motor.

In March, you called the Corona virus a hoax, and noted the link to your you tube channel. The moderator team suspected then it was an attempt to increase views. You were given a warning.
This seems like a second attempt at similar activity. This is the last warning to restrain from this type of activity.
Several members have commented and/or reported on this activity in the past, resulting in the previous warning, and this one.
To clarify, there are no rules on the forum preventing linking to your own you tube channel. In fact, there are several members here who have popular, informative Frontier related channels.
There are also no specific rules on linking to sites referencing hoaxes or conspiracies. i.e. Topics like ‘fake planes on 9/11’ , which is referenced in the about page, on the channel that was linked above. However, this may call for a rule change which we will discuss among the moderation staff.
Your articulate posts above, legitimize the ‘accuracy ‘ of many previous statements. We will be back shortly.
No vehicle this size needs a 9 speed trans. If you haven't noticed, there is an agenda to get you out of your vehicles. It's called agenda 21. Look it up.
Hate to poke the bear, but I just looked up "agenda 21" as I had not heard the term. I have no idea why you would say it is "an agenda to get you out of your vehicles". Huh? You understand what the new multigear transmissions are for right? I am sure back when 2 and 3sp automatics were the norm, 4 and 5 speed automatics were decried too....
We could just be more tolerant of free speech. Given some of the comments, I have to ask then why was I admonished in the first time about sharing my channel? Now I'm just confused. I have gone mostly to weekly or less vids. Not really getting much traction as, shockingly, I'm not often very politically correct. Didn't a certain prez get elected being that way or supposedly got elected? Not sure if we have true elections at the national level, but that's another 'potentially' not politically correct post I'll avoid making..

Free speech is not guaranteed here. This is a privately run forum dedicated to discussions of Frontier trucks. The rules (delivered to you when you joined) also state no discussions of politics. This is simply so we have a place to escape discussions that are easily debated on other platforms.
5. LEGAL/POLITICS
Posts relating to drug use, street racing, excessive speeding, or violations of other laws are prohibited. If you want to race, take it to a legal venue. Also, threads discussing any form of political interests usually lead to some form of flaming, so they will be deleted as well.
You will be placed on vacation for a week because the name calling is specifically against the rules. Please limit discussions to topics compatible with the forum rules.
You were warned earlier in March based on this section of the rules:
9. DISRUPTING THE FORUM & BANNING
Any posts/threads/avatars/signatures deemed disruptive by the ClubFrontier’s staff may be deleted with no questions asked.
Indicating that that Covid19 is a hoax, and linking to a channel that indicates that 9/11 had 'fake planes' is disruptive to the operation of this forum.

I bought one of the armrest covers as well. The fit is OK... but that may be due to a lack of skill on my behalf. I also did not order one with padding, but wish I did, as it may have helped cover some of my ineptitude in installing the cover. I may pick up a small piece of thin padding from a craft shop later to slide under the cover. Its a little low on my list of things to do.

They are tricky to install - I had to be satisfied with a less than perfect fit and use a bit of crazy glue to cheat to save my sanity. If I were doing it again, I'd order it with the two layers of foam, then just use one of the foam layers so the leather would be a tad longer. The leather is just too "short" to tuck under without going nuts trying.

I got the one with the fattest foam option and yeah, they're all tricky to install. I used a very sharp exacto to make small slits in all the corners, then drilled holes in my "frame" -- whatever you want to call the cubby lid skeleton, and used small wire-ties to cinch everything down while stretching it and installing the cubby lid base tightly. The wire ties are invisible after installation and thankfully the leather is strong enough that the tension didn't start tear lines in the corners. If you had an assistant it might be possible to install w/o such drastic measures but I was doing it solo and it came out pretty good.
