Hey, not sure if I missed someone already posting this, poking around the Nissan site, the 2017's magically got a 200 lb Tow rating increase ? Max tow on the King Cab V6 4x2 is now 6710 lbs, while 4x4 is 6500. Anybody know what changes on the trucks to let this happen? Or did they simply change the test standards? In which case does that mean that the rest of us with 2016's and older can use the new numbers as well?

Probably got information from the brochures. They do appear to be different.

Payload seems to be slightly different as well. My 2014 brochure says 1,390lb for my swb cc and the 2017 says 1,360lb. I also noticed the new brochure is more specific with ratings for each configuration. The old brochures seemed to list averages because had much less limits listed.

That's probably the reason then.

Is there any change in the GCWR rating in the owner's manuals? That is the total weight of the truck+trailer and everything else combined,
