comparing my back window on the inside of the cab, there are little holes on the rubber running around the window, my friends 2011 with a solid window doesn't have this.

Is this normal?

Someone invented this product designed specifically for people like you. It is called an Otter Box. You can even get it in bright colors so you can find the phone after you drop it. ::grin::

Why they don't add a wrist strap to the otter box, I will never know.
