if anyone knows how to remove the parking guide lines from the stereo
please post it up here

I don't mean from the aftermarket camera
but from the stock stereo

I have another camera on order but the radio also has them

one set is from the camera (i will swap it out easily enough)
but the other is generated from the radio display

Not sure HOW to remove those lines per se, but here's how to access your inner OEM radio menu:
turn off radio, hold down preset #1 AND turn volume knob clockwise at least 25-30+ clicks until a menu appears, scroll down to desired function.

You can easily use the 'back' button to go back a step.

This method will also allow access to viewing the rear camera while driving...but one cannot listen to the radio while doing so.

Perhaps you could meld the two sets of lines somehow?

Thanks for this tip - I use an aftermarket camera but the original factory camera guideline are offset (for an OEM offset camera). This hidden menu let me move the guidelines so they are in the center of the screen (and centered for my license plate camera).
I didn't try this, but for people with cameras that already have guidelines from the camera, maybe you could use the radio's guideline adjustment and move the lines off the screen?
With my 2017 SV radio, I started the engine and left it running, then turned the radio off, then pressed and held the Preset button #1 while turning the radio volume dial one full turn clock-wise. That bought up the hidden radio menu in my truck where I was able to move the radio's built-in camera guidelines.
