Hello I recently started to upgrade my 2017 Frontier SV 4.0L V6 4x4. I found out that using a lift/leveling kit (2.5" from rough country) causes the factory upper control arms to hit the coil bucket when going over small bumps. To fix this I swapped out the factory arms for SPC arms (#25540) and solved the clearance issue. Plus it has a grease port to grease the ball joint! I also installed the pedal commander (PDC45987058 ) to get rid of the annoying throttle lag. I really love the quick response I get from the pedal commander. I'm looking at cold air intakes K&N 63-6014 and possibly some exhaust modding as well. Anyone have any info on the best exhaust systems for performance, as well as keeping the sound low and aggressive without the ricey tones and drones?

hi and welcome. Mods are fun, for exhaust you're pretty much limited to Banks, MBRP, AFE for bolt on... many Frontier owners here have also gone the full custom route. They all work the same, exhaust doesn't add performance.

Dude wait - you actually spent $300 for that "Pedal Commander"? Sorry to hear that.

I bought the pedal commander off a friend for a fraction of the price... and it works great! I'm used to driving manual transmission vehicles and the throttle response you get from them. The pedal commander cuts out that lag and it lets you set the sensitivity.
