I have a 2017 frontier S that I am adding fogs to. I am not sure which switch to buy. I see the stalk for 2015 model, but not sure if it will work?

Also see some button dash mount switches, not sure if that’s what came in 2017?

Where is the factory switch located for 2017 models?

I'm sure you'd like to hear from someone who actually has a 2017 (I don't), but I believe the fog light switch is on the stalk just like the rest of the 2nd gens. Particularly, if you go to the Nissan parts website, search on your 2017 Frontier for "fog lights", you get the exact same kit part number as comes up when I search for my 2012.

edit: And I should have said- that kit comes with the upgraded stalk.

OK. My point was just that since Nissan gives the same kit part number for 2017 as 2012, then probably any second gen stalk would work for you. Just make sure the connector looks the same (same # of pins) and is the same color connector as your original one.

Awesome. I just ordered from rockauto. I’ll post update once it’s all installed. I picked up a new bumper too. The textured one looks terrible, so I have a new paintable one going to the body shop.

Can you link me to said kit?

I have a 2017 also and wanting to add the lights too. This is the first Nissan I've had but from previous vehicles, I would say to get the Nissan one with the replacement stick like factory OEM. The main reason is so they can't void any of your warranty no matter how professional of a job you do. A rocker switch on the dash hooked into the wiring can be an excuse not to cover something that may go wrong in the future even if unrelated. But depends on your warranty or dealership.

I just got a 2017 SV as well. Is the fog light switch on the Stalk for 2017 or was it a switch? I was going to buy the Stalk because I saw the 2015 stalk worked for OP but wasn't sure if I should get that or install the switch.

Someone show me this "dash mounted switch" you guys keep referring to, chances are if it's not aftermarket then you're just seeing the Xterra switch - which isn't a "fog lamp" switch at all - people just used it (like me) to control outside lamps. OEM fog lamps were always on the stalk.
