I agree but that actually messes with the torque setting as it reduces the friction when tightening down on the bolt.

Other brands of vehicles indicate loctite rather than anti-seize. My Town Cars/Crown Vics indicated loctite, but the torque was a little less..
Never had a problem with anti seize.

I hear you but you’re actually over torquing those bolts by doing that and may be stretching the bolt as well.

Thats what proper torque is, stretching the bolt to a specified length. Measuring bolt stretch is much more accurate than using a torque wrench.Many bolts require lubrication for proper torquing.
