Hi all, I'm new to this forum and just picked up an arctic blue Pro4x a few days ago. This is my first Nissan product, I come from the Toyota side of things. ::smile:: I got rid of my 2nd gen Tacoma and spent some time shopping around for a new mid size truck and checking out all the competitors in the segment. The Frontier won out for me, the fact that the this platform has been around for 10+ years was not a negative in my eyes. The GMC, Chev, Toyota and Honda sales reps would go out of their way to point out this fact to discredit the Frontier! ::laugh:: I rather prefer the tried and true over something new and untested. Not to mention I found it to have the best combination of price, features, and feel in general. In other words, lots of bang for the buck. The only oddball in the mix was the new Honda Ridgeline. It rode the nicest out of all the other trucks but technically it's a unibody chassis with a truck shape. Now I do have an issue with my Frontier though, I just found out that my sunroof doesn't work at all. I tried pushing and also holding down the open/close switch and nothing. No noises or movement at all. Am I missing something? I think I should post something in the general section, I hope it's something minor but it's under warranty so no big deal.

Finally have some pics of the Frontier. That gunmetal grey color was actually my first choice but it was almost impossible to find something at this point. It must be a popular color with this truck. This arctic blue one was the last 2016 Pro4x this dealer had in stock. I suppose I could have factory ordered a 2017 but I wanted to take advantage of these year end incentives. Why pay more for the same thing? This blue is actually a very interesting color, it's almost black at some angles. There's lots of metallic flake in it as well, nicer in person than pictures. The Tacoma was a good truck but I had the access cab and got tired of the suicide doors. I did check out the new 3rd gen Tacoma but I don't like the look of them and the pricing isn't competitive. I got way more value for my dollar with the Frontier, it's also a proven powertrain and platform. A similarly equipped new 16/17 Tacoma would have cost me many thousands more.
