Hi Everyone
I'm looking at installing fog lights in my 2015 SV, right now there are dust covers in the bumper. I haven't looked yet but I'm wondering if the truck is pre wired for fog lights and if so do I have to install a switch or swap one out on the steering column?
Also wondering if anyone has any recommendations for an LED fog light kit? Any suggestions help!
Thanks

The wiring for the fog lights is there from the factory. You need a new turn signal stalk with fog light control. Rock Auto has them for 83 dollars. There are lots of options for fog lights, from factory to cheap Chinese LED to really high performance lights.

You can install factory style fogs and plug them into the harness that's already behind the bumper, and if you do that then a new factory stalk can be used to wire them, or you can ruin wires and use a switch. On my first frontier I did aftermarket lights with a switch on the dash, and today i put OEM style lights and a stalk from an Altima for a factory style set up on my "new to me" frontier. I paid something like $62 for both lights and the stalk on eBay. Make sure you look at the connector on the stalk because some sellers list them as for 05+ but the connector changed in '09 or '10 and you'll need one with the black connector, not the white one (there are example pictures on rock auto).

The factory fog lamp plug/wires should be tucked in somewhere behind the bumper cover.

As mentioned above you'll need to buy the OEM factory left-side stalk separately, or wire your own switch.

The only fog lamps I'd recommend are either Rigid Industries, Morimito XB, or OEM Nissan fog lamps... because I've had all three ::wink::
