Folks.. does anyone know if there are 2 different front license plate brackets you can purchase for the Frontier? I see where one is mounted low.. and the other is mounted higher. They don't look like one would fit both locations. For some reason, my son's vehicle didn't come with it. The only one I have found is part number 96210 ZL00B. This one fits lower on the front of the vehicle. There looks like 2 different front ends. My son's doesn't have that bottom section.. Not sure if it would fit on the top (right under the grill)

According this website, that part number fits all 2009-2016 Frontiers with chrome bumper and non-chrome bumper (bumper cover).

Not sure if there are two license plate brackets. I remember someone did mod theirs to mount the plate higher.

Here is what I'm talking about. Neither are my sons but looking at the 2nd vehicle pictured below, his license plate is screwed in like that.. simply into the vehicle with no bracket behind it. That's the bracket I need. No way the 1st bracket fits onto that part of the vehicle as it is curved and goes around the lower part and connects....and the bracket that I just bought #96210ZL00B will fit not on the upper portion

I see what you mean. Mine has a factory front plate and it mounts low. The higher one might be a simple "universal" type. This is mine in this photo.

Thanks. Yeah.. this is the one we got him. Reason it needs to be up top, as that's where the holes are..as you can see by the photo. Sorry the photo is sideways. Not sure how that happened ��

If I'm not mistaken, the gold truck is actually a Nissan Navara, not a Frontier. The nose is a little different.
