2015 frontier tail gate spoiler will not drain

All, I have a 2015 Frontier. When it rains the spoiler fills with water and does not drain unless you open the tailgate. Anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you solve it? I can't imagine all that water in there is good (rust, paint damage, etc.)

Ok seriously - I have a '14, and okay - after a truck wash or rain, if I fold down the tailgate some water comes out from the spoiler, but IMO it's no different then when you see water come out from the door handles, or the door jambs.

Unless you're talking like gallons of water, I don't think it's something to be concerned about.
