My brake lights are out, however the 3rd one, on the roof works.
No bulbs burnt out, fuse in glove box looks fine. when hooked up to my trailer, the trailer brake lights work.

I cannot figure this out.
I'm thinking I messed something up last night when I plugged my trailer in, while the truck was running??

What could the issue be? Are the 3 lights on the same fuse/circuit??

did you check the fuse in the engine bay? should be the 10amp (red) mini fuse

I looked in the engine bay , but the panel covers don't show any fuses that say "stop lamp",, any help on which one it is.

Did you install the Nissan wiring kit when you installed the hitch, or was it a "slice and splice" job done at a local RV shop.?

I am willing to bed a splice job and when he plugged it in while it was running, it "jolted" the system and blew something (fuse, bcm, bulb, etc...)

If it works when you plug the trailer lights in it is a grounding issue....
