Have a 2006 Nissan Frontier 6 cylinder. A/C just started acting up. Only working when blower fan is set to the highest position. When in the highest position, the A/C light on the control panel flickers on-off-on-off-etc… When I set the fan to a lower position, the A/C light goes off, blower continues to blow BUT it is warm air.

Checked the refrigerant and it is full. Was thinking possible “Heater Switch Resistor” aka “Blower Motor Resistor” but wanted to run it by the DIY Frontier gurus to see if there have been similar experiences and positive outcomes.

Thank you in advance for your feedback and help…

Thanks PhotoPirate. I searched the forums prior to posting and found the exact same discussion. The poster in the discussion did not go into much detail regarding his initial problem but it sounded very similar (hence my initial idea of replacing the resistor).

Will order the part today and will follow up on this discussion so that someone else may benefit.
