I have a 2004 Nissan Frontier 2.4 liter Automatic. It was recommended by Auto Zone that I use 80w-90 in my rear differential. I was also told I needed to use almost 2 full Pints.
When I changed it out not much came out of the rear. Looked like about a Pint. I then fill the rear differential and it only took 1 pint before it started to run out. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong here?

are you confusing quarts with pints. a standard bottle of gear oil is a quart.
Yep. I can't believe that I didn't even snap to that. I was referencing the FSM.
And I just recently serviced mine too. And it definitely required more than two pints. Thanks
