My cats are starting to go out but before that happens I'm doing research on the best options of replacement. Since I'm already going to have to replace the cat I was considering doing an entire exhaust. Since it won't be that much of a price difference. Should I just go standard or should I get an aftermarket replacement? My goal is mainly performance not really sound but I know that can be difficult with a 2.4 4 cylinder in general. To keep the back flo so you don't loose anything. Open to any discussion. Please help. Also I am in Jacksonville FL. Have a great day!

I would just go with Walker or BRE (formerly Bosal) exhaust parts and converters. Unless you are going to be doing some serious performance mods to the engine, i.e. cams, turbo, etc., you're not going to see much difference in performance regardless of what exhaust parts you use. You could also get a custom exhaust shop to make and install a system for you, rather than get pre-made pipes. It may be cheaper.
