I'm trying to replace my o2 sensor...when i ordered new ones they didnt work because the thread size was t0 small.... the old sensor measured 7/8 inch where the replacements were much smaller...the truck was built in October 2000 so maybe the changed later on....anyway...having a hard time finding ones that fit.....any ideas.... Thanks

IIRC, the sensor on the exhaust manifolds screws into a bung that is screwed into the manifold.

Are you sure you purchased the correct part?

Go to nissanpartsdeal.com and enter your VIN then find the sensor that you need an cross reference the part numbers.

Can you post some pics of your old and the new sensors?

Yeah, you need to remove the adapter that's still attached to the old sensor.
Channel locks were helpful in removing that adapter back when I had the same issue.

I had to buy a new bung from the dealer and it only cost like 8 dollars and they actually had it in stock.
