I need to find the box to unplug to disconnect the door buzzer when the key is in the ignition.
Can someone tell me where this is and possible a pic.

I dont think so, it has aftermarket stereo.

it was in the kick panel of drivers side

looking for the chime that dings with the key in ignition and and door open to disconnect or pull relay for this.

In my hardbody (which the gen1 frontier is basiclly), the chime box was in the driver side kick panel like you mentioned. Pretty obvious with the panel off and the chime beeping. I pulled it, but regretted it later. It is also the headlight on reminder. I drive a lot of 2 lane roads where I would often turn on my headlight. Without the chime I left the headlights on several times and ran the battery down. Another solution is to leave the the key in the on position. The chime will beep for 5 seconds or so and them shut off. THis way I could hang out in parking lots/camping with the stereo on, the door open, and no chime.

I not trying to be you dad and tell you what to do. Just giving you my insight.

On my 2003, which has power door locks, I believe it is part of the smart entrance control unit. Models without power door locks have a warning chime module behind the driver's knee bolster.

Hey Nissan4life, thx I had some hardbodys before too I thought it was on the kick panel of the drivers side. I just couldnt seem to fine in on the frontier.
Im not too worried about leaving lights on,

what I did do is take steering column cover off and unplugged the switch there that shut the chime off. (Found on other post)
Didnt want to take cover off at first but it was only 5 screws and came off pretty easy.
No more chime, I do still get a chime if my headlights are on and door open, (not sure key in or out when this happens dnt remember)
dont seem to be anything else affected but annoying chime.
so problem solved just not way I thought or really wanted but worked.
