Love my truck but frustrated. I need winter rims for my 2000 4x4 and can't find anything except racing wheels, far too expensive for me right now. Wasn't planning to drive it in winter but my beater minivan died and so until I find another winter beater I have no choice. My wheels are stock right now, 15s. I found some 15s off an '03 Xterra and the guy said they'd fit because they're essentially the same vehicle. But according to the specs I found for the Xterra they have a much higher offset of 40, and the same site says my offset should be 8-20. I'm not great with offsets/backspacing etc but wouldn't that offset be an issue with my calipers?
If they won't fit, does anyone have suggestions where to find wheels for my truck in Ontario Canada?
Thanks. And yes, I thought they would but I've been checking for weeks and they haven't had any. I may have to get alloys instead, I live in a snow belt in the hills and summer tires don't make for a relaxing drive
Then getem on ebay, they buy them from the same manufactuer and dont run out of stock as much as rockauto.Alloys are fine, just not as durable or strong as steel and cost triple the price.
I can't find any even at the salvage yards, anywhere in Ontario. I've been looking for 2 months at least, never expected rims would be so hard to find. I have found new alloys from a few sources, so looks like I'll be getting those. Thanks
