I was looking for a way to utilize the utili-track channel to mount a utility light. I often need a light in the back to light up something I'm towing or backing into.

I ended using some spare strut channel and fittings, and luckily I can pivot it around so it faces forward on the passenger side.

I have it tied to the reverse lights and direct to a switch.

Need close-up photo but looks like it needs more support for rough terrain.

The hardware is pretty durable for regular road use, but probably would move around off-road. Adding another leg would prevent me from being able to rotate it around. I'll get some more pix tonight.

looks like a neat idea.
ive thought about doing something like this in mine, but only to a switch.

i would whoop some *** if someone blinded me like that when they were backing up.
