2 MPG gain!!!!!!!!

Somehow a coolant flush turned into removing the engine fan and shroud. Aux fan still used.
Definitely a 1mpg gain possible 2mpg. That's a lot considering I only get 15mpg
Next is getting an electric fan before the spring. No issues without that fan. Running 190f without the engine fan and the aux fan only kicks on at 208 which it hasn't reached yet in this 30f weather
Btw what's a good temp to have the fan running for when I get the electric?

thats kinda risky, even in cold climates. i hope u dont get stuck in traffic idling
Ran 20miles on the highway than sat in driveway idle for 1hour. Temp went from 185 to 208 than aux fan kicked in and cooled back down to 190. Took couple mins with aux fan. Than sat around 190

So no issues in cold weather. But yeah gettin efan before temps go back up over 40f.
I love the part where you claim one thing in the title with 8 exclamation points...then go on to say that it is probably about half of that claim.
Nice bait.
No thanks, summer temps here soar to the 120's on the old fahrenheit scale. That's not a real good idea over here where the sun shines. :thatswck:

Not here either, me thinks I will live with my MPG and a little loss of power!

Point is to remove fan attached to engine and replace with electric fan, NOT go fan less. Do we have to uses baby steps? :comphead:
Not needing baby steps here, I trust a clutch fan over electric anyday, I work on cars, I have seen electric fans fail, I have seen lots! You are fanless now! Hope all goes well with that.

Was anyone being rude to you??? Don't need the comments in a public forum!
