I have 2 newbie questions.
why do some lift kits say "does not fit pro4x"
and would a 2" lift void any kind of warranties?

Some do not work on the newer Pro 4X models, although most do but the manufacturers have not updated their info. I suggest contacting Rugged Rocks or Nisstec directly thru their websites, just to make sure. Their are lifts available for your Pro4X. Welcome to Club Frontier

I'm sure if you posed the question to your dealer they would immediately say yes on the warranty void. But many many folks on here have lifted Frontys that are still in warranty
