does anyone have the 4x4parts 2" body lift with and automatic? If so please post a picture of the shifter so I can get an idea if there is enough play in the length as to not interfere with the shifting throughout all the gear positions. I know that the manual will lose the 2" but need to know if the automatic has enough room to work.

Thanks in advance

I just ordered my kit from them last Friday. I have not gotten it yet, but the discription on there web site, says that it will not affect it. So it should be good.

Also I have never heard people talking about it, so it cant be that much of an issue.

i have done 2" body lift on my 05 LE w/ one piece front bumper without any issues. bottom of the bumper cover WILL NOT align with screw holes on stock radiator skid plate, all i did is used self tapping screws and just covered the old holes. installation went very smooth and took approximately 4-6hrs. you will need 2 people to align the body while lifting it.
note: I also got my body lift from 4x4parts, directions are very well written and very easy to follow, just make sure that you have all the tools before you begin and a nice breaker bar to remove those seized up cab bolts. 2 of my bed bolts have snapped while removing them, I just drilled them out and used nuts to finish the install.

let me know if you have any additional questions

can you post some pictures of how the front bumper turned out? That is my only hang up for this, also how does the gap look at the rear wheel wells? Did you use the gap filler pieces? sorry about all the questions.

Thanks for your help

i did the 2" BL on my LE. i didn't use any relocation brackets for my bumper - the brackets i had didnt line up. all i did was wrap the one-piece plastic around the mounted steel bumper beneath. as mentioned, the holes do not line up but i never did anything about self-tapping the plastic back into the steel.
