I am adding an additional transmission cooler to my 2002 Nissan Frontier 3.3L. On my radiator are 2 hoses connected to my transmission, which side, driver or passenger, is the one with fluid returning to the transmission? In other words, if I want to connect the additional cooler into the return line from the radiator, do I want to connect into the connect into the driver side line or the passenger side line? Thanx for your thoughts on this.

i believe the hose coming from the hardline attached to the passenger side of the tranny is the sending line. do yourself a favor and use quality hose and quality clamps, the lines see some pretty high temps and expand and cheap hose clamps will loosen from time to time. i had a clamp quit on me in the desert. after that, i made the decision to go with stainless braided and threaded fittings all the way to the tranny, competely bypassing the factory cooler.

to be 100% sure, unclip the hoses and put them in a bucket. put the truck in neutral and crank it for just a second. whichever hose spits is the sender.
