Just bought a new Frontier. Std tranny, my first car - I get my license in two weeks and need to learn to drive a stick. First thing was to change oil. There is no manual with the car. What kind of oil does it take? 58000 miles, great shape, except headliner needs to be replaced.

Welcome to the site. Congrats on the first car. You are definately starting with a nicer truck then mine was. My first car was a retired 'yota delivery truck with like 200,000 miles on it. Anyways...WELCOME. I am sure someone will be along to answer your oil question.

2wd or 4wd? I have a '98 4wd and it takes 10w30. I don't know if it is different between the two. Hopefully someone else can chime in. Welcome to the club, by the way.
