I'm the second owner (original owner purchased brand new and drove till it had 100K). Car was bone stock when I purchased it and had no rust(South Carolina car). Over the past nine years or so, I've slowly built the car into a fast/fun daily driver that has always been garage kept. Oil has always been changed every 3k miles with mobile 1 synthetic it's and always run with 93 octane. Car has 128K miles on it.

Timing belt/water pump was done at 120K. Turbo has less than 1k miles on it.

I may be partial, but this one of the cleanest 1G's that I've seen.

Thanks for that Sangster, I appreciate it. One of the cleanest I've seen with original paint.

No hard dyno numbers, but a conservative guess is 320ish to the wheels. At the hands of a capable tuner(and dyno), I wouldn't be surprised with upper threes.

Being an owner of one what is it about them cars that gives them so much potential to be fast as hell?? I have seen a few at the drag strip that are down right violent and destroy everything in the street class. Most running 10's and even a few 9's in the 1/4 mile.

They seem to respond really well to "bolt ons". All forged internals and a stock compression of 7:8 to1 doesn't hurt either.

and as far as awd cars go they can take one hell of a beating as far as launches go. nothing launches like a first gen dsm, atleast nothing for a comparable price. good luck on sale
