2013 4.0 ~65K, original owner.

Drove it around town, made a few stops. Parked in the garage for about an hour and now nothing. Crank but no start.

Fuse good, replaced anyways.
Relay, cant find location or information.

Fuel Pump, no life heard or felt.

9-11 volts for ~1 second at key on, and constant while cranking.

Gave 12volts from a known good source directly to the pump, and it fired up and will run the truck.

Got a new pump, plugged in outside of tank, no life.

Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Did you try swapping out the ECU relay with a known good one?
I think the ECU relay is internal on the newer style IPDM, so I cant swap it.

I do know that if I pull the can bus connector from the IPDM, it goes into fail mode like the older style (fan runs, lights come on, ect). That being said, I am currently assuming that the ECU is good, and the internal ECU relay is good.

OP stated that he checked fuse...but how? Continuity is the way to go....good catch Nissan4Life!

Definitely has a fuel pump relay and I see a connection between ECM and fuel pump. I'd check to see if the fuel pump relay has battery voltage with key on (or just check at the fuel pump wire harness connection with key on and see if battery voltage is present.

If no voltage then replace fuel pump relay with known good relay.

Replaced the IPDM, still wont power the fuel pump. :(

The Relay is onboard, not swapable like the older style. New IPDM = New relay. :(

Dont forget, If I bypass the vehicle and supply my own power to the fuel pump, the truck runs fine. No codes.

Thanks for everyones input. Unfortunately the truck is still dead in the water, I really dont want to go to the dealer. They are absolute garbage in Boise, ID.

Found where something hit the rear harness, exposed the copper, then corroded the wires.

I guess the wires shorted something out in the IPDM. Fixed the busted wires and now it runs as normal.

Time to move the harness above the frame.
