The only thing I can suggest is if a Discount Tire is located where ever you live, order one wheel from each company and test fit them to check for rubbing. I have done that for about four sets of wheels with DT.

One more thing to consider is that if you want to use either one of those wheels you linked to, you're going to need adapters which are going to push the wheel out further. They both show 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern and the 2 gen Frontier is 6 on 4.5. Just throwing that out there in case you hadn't thought about it.

Nope. 1st gen is 6x5.5 and 2nd gen is 6x4.5.

Everbody and they momma have procomps. I even had the 8089's with tires 1 size up from stock until I sold the last summer. Do a search on procomps and you should find a lot of answers on the different size tires owners are running.

The procomps I had were stamped with a -12 offset. I ran 265/75/16 with a calmini 5in lift. That was the biggest tire I could run without cutting up the inner fender and rubbing, but made the truck look like @$$.

It doesn't matter if your 2wd or 4 you will nedd to do some modification to the rear of the front fender in order for turning lock to lock. Here is a pic of what I was running and as you could see it would look better with more tire than I had.
