Hey what's up guys? Randomly these past 2 weeks the truck has been cranking a few extra seconds before firing, occasionally I'll have to turn the key to off and go to start again which it'll fire up. Once I get her started I had no problems throughout the day. Well I went to do an oil change, clean a corroded positive terminal and try to look deeper into this issue yesterday when out of the blue I couldn't get it to fire. Truck cranks and cranks to no avail, I redid the positive terminal connector with a new one and anti corrosive spray and tried firing again but nothing.
100k 4.0 I rarely ever drive it anymore besides the weekends and want to tackle this issue asap if anyone has any ideas?
Thanks!

No check engine light? Usually it will be on.
Two common causes are crank positioning sensor or cam positioning sensor.

Next time it won't start - that's when you need to troubleshoot whether your RUN circuit of your ignition switch is working, you already posted that the START circuit is working. The run circuit once you release the key is different contacts than the run circuit while in the start position.
