Hey everyone I'm Zach. Finally made a profile after constantly looking at clubfrontier.org for threads and how to-s. So to start off I have 2006 Nissan Frontier CC V6 MT. I actually got this truck at a local salvage auction. It had very minor body damage which included the driver headlight, fender, grille and bumper. It has some scratches and dents from here and there as well. I ended up getting a color matched fender then went to a few junkyards to get parts from either the pathfinder or frontier. This summer I ended up taking it on a 6000 mile roadtrip and ended up picking up a used Shrockworks Prerunner winch bumper on craigslist in denver.
This is my first truck after owning lots of other styles of vehicles before. I wanted a truck mainly for the towing capacity and ability to haul misc stuff around. I also wanted one that is capable of towing my car to and from the track. I liked the Frontier becuase it had the highest towing rating as well as the highest peak power/torque of any other V6 midsize truck. I also required to have a manual transmission as that is what i prefer in a vehicle.
Anyways to tell about myself I use my truck to tow a 1990 Miata that I setup from dual purpose of track and summer daily. It has a turbo and all those goodies and makes 233whp and 208wtq( pretty close to the frontiers power haha). I also have a business of parting out Miatas so I tow any parts cars home and also deliever motors, and larger parts to people.
The Frontier has been an awesome truck and has exceeded my expectations.
Thanks,
Zach
