Ok my Christmas present FINALLY arrived. Got my nerf bars today. Does anyone know off hand (before I get dirty and freeze my butt off) if the 05 & 06 body is the same where the bars are concerned? I have an 06 & my husband was told by the place he ordered them from that the 05 is the same. Just though I would ask first because it's all of 30 degrees out there not counting the wind chill.

I've not heard of any changes to the body from 05 to 06, and most aftermarket resellers are offering parts for 05/06 Frontiers, so I would venture to say they are the same! Good luck with your install, bundle up and take some pics once you have them installed!

BTW, your husband is one lucky dude, not only do you like truck, you like modding trucks, and you do it yourself! Wow what a catch! 8O

Awh shucks thanks. He got me into the mod part because of what he's done to his car. The Saturn Red Line is a sweet car on it's own, but the stuff he's done to it so far it's sick! As for the truck part... used to have a SUV, but living in suburbia didn't want people thinking I'm a soccer mom My son only plays baseball & wrestles, no soccer.

DivaLisa,

Too bad you are so far away or you could use my heated garage. It makes doing the modifications so much more pleasant. It was nice enough today you could actually do
the work outside.

Boy you guys! You're making me blush

Thanks Okie I'll be right down! I don't even have a garage at all let alone a heated one. That was one nice thing about owning Saturn's... no rusting! It's supposed to get up to 49 tomorrow so hope we can get them on then. Have to do it this week though because hubby's gonna have to help & he's having his shoulder operated on on Wed next week, and I'm sure I'll need his help holding it in place.

I propped mine up with some boxes to align it. I was by myself and it worked just fine
in case your husband is not able to do it before his surgery.

Wish him luck and speedy recovery on his surgery.
