Has anyone noticed that the mud flaps do not seem to be very effective on the 05 Frontier. The fenders cover the tires; however, the mud deposits the length of the vehicle. See picture. I am considering additional fender extensions. I did not experience this with other trucks that I have owned under similar driving conditions. This is not from any off road driving. Has any one added any additional extensions that look good?

Your stock fenders stick out far enough if you put fender extentions on it, I think it will look odd. It is hard to keep White clean. I have a black one and it is just as hard.

It looks like he has the factory mudguards. I have a white LE KC with mudguards and I can tell you it gets muddy too. My wife's Solara also has mudguards and it does the same thing.

I think to eliminate this problem you would have to put such large fender extensions on your truck that it would ruin the looks of the truck.

The built in fender flares are one of the things I like best about the '05's over the '04's.

I just ordered some splash guards for my 2005 KC LE. My rig is Silver so it'll be interesting to see how well they work. I'll let you know when I get them installed.
